Chigi no Shiro Matcha
Chigi No Shiro, tranlated "A Thousand Trees", is one of our mid-grade usucha matchas. The name, "A Thousand Trees", is a reference to the ceremonial rebuilding of the Ise Shrine every 20 years. Chigi no Shiro is a mid-grade ceremonial usucha and is an excellent balance between cost and quality. This matcha is often used for larger tea gatherings where many bowls are prepared for guests. It is also popular for use in tea lessons and training.
